The house was located on Gympie Road south of the North Pine River on part of Portion 22, Parish of Warner, which was purchased by Thomas Nathaniel Bray in 1904 as a dairy farm. Thomas is standing at the rear left of the family group. John Sanders Bray, the eldest son, is standing to his right next to the pillar. The farm was sold to John in 1937. The central section of the structure was built by the Thomas brothers around 1871.
